What is afecting cholesterol?

Diet

We get cholesterol from two ways, from our body(mainly the liver) usually 1000 mg per day and from the food( from animals especially egg yolks, poultry, shellfish, whole milk and dairy products). Food from plants (fruit, vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds) don't contain cholesterol.
Saturated fatty acids foods is the main cause in raising blood cholesterol, which increase your risk of health disease.Trans fats also increase blood cholesterol, but dietary diet also plays a part.
Some excess dietary cholesterol is removed from the body through the liver. If you have heart disease you should limit your intake less than 200 mg.Still everyone should remember that by keeping their dietary intake of saturated and trans fats low, they can significantly lower their dietary cholesterol intake

Food high in saturated fat generally contain substantial amount of dietary cholesterol.
since cholesterol is in all foods from animal sources, care must be taken to eat no more than six ounce of lean meat fish and poultry per day and to use fat-free and low fat dairy products.High quality from the protein from vegetable source such as bean are good substitutes for animal sources protein.

Regular physical activity increases HDL cholesterol in some people.A higher HDL cholesterol is linked with lower risk of heart disease. Physical activity can also help control weight, diabetes and high blood pressure. Aerobic physical activity raising your heart beat and breathing rates, its will increase the blood and oxygen supply tissue and make your heart and lung healthy.you can start regular to moderate to vigorous activity such brisk walking, jogging also swimming.
Even moderate intensive activity if done daily help reduce your risk, for example gardening, yard work, house work, dancing etc.
